Dentons has launched an interactive tool that puts key aspects of global anti-dumping laws at the users’ fingertips, allowing for quick, customizable comparisons across multiple jurisdictions.

Leveraging Dentons’ global platform and award-winning commitment to technological innovation, the Firm launched this innovative, free platform to allow corporate leaders to create customized user-friendly comparisons of the laws.

Selecting from a list of 10 jurisdictions, with plans to expand, users can quickly learn about, compare and contrast laws from up to three countries, across a list of 28 key points, including:

  • Who can bring a complaint
  • How are export prices and dumping margins determined
  • Preliminary inquiries
  • Questionnaire requirements and verifications
  • How is injury determined
  • Sampling techniques used by authorities
  • Cumulation & multiple countries
  • The level of de minimus thresholds
  • Treatment of related parties
  • Investigation periods
  • Undertaking & suspension agreements
  • Confidentiality of proceedings
  • Public interest considerations
  • Interim reviews and extensions of duties

The results of each individual search can easily be shared by email or on social media, and include the appropriate Dentons contact for follow-up support. The tool is also available for smartphone use. Anticipating client need and creating value-added, practical tools for clients were the drivers behind the development of the user-friendly, online platform.

For more information on this tool, please reach out to one of the key contacts or any member of our global Trade, WTO and Customs group.
