The Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act – A 10th anniversary non-retrospective

The Ontario government recently announced it has re-extended the launch date of Ontario’s Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (the ONCA) until December of 2021. At 10 years now since the ONCA was originally passed, a lot has changed in the process of getting the ONCA ready to come into force. Our authors explore the history of the ONCA, what this means for corporations and where we go from here.
